C-130 Hercules

This Orange-and-white C-130 Hercules was spotted by our faithful Yulee correspondent at the Sun & Fun air show last weekend in Lakeland. The setting/rising sun makes the Orange look almost Gator red, but it's really Orange, folks.

Orange or not?

There's no doubt this is a very cool vehicle. It's a T-45 Goshawk, the US Navy and Marine Corps jet trainer. This particular copy was spotted at an air show 3/26/11 by our faithful Yulee correspondent. But is it Orange and White or Red and White? Gator fans call this Orange. We don't think so.

Obviously I love Orange vehicles, but rarely do I see an OV that I'd actually like to HAVE and drive myself. This one is an exception. Love this. A friend tagged me on this pic on FB. Love it. Anyone know the make and model?

Yakity Yak

I keep getting pix, so I'll keep posting pix. And this one ROCKS. Spotted by a regular contributor at last weekend's Tico Airshow. It's a YAK-55 flown by an outfit called Tiger Air Shows. Arguably could be the coolest Orange vehicle published on the blog. Plus it never fails to amaze me just how many kinds of OVs there are out there.

Orange Classics

Like these two bitchen OVs spotted in California recently by first-time contributor Anna A., clearly an artist with an eye to beautiful vehicles. These look like classics, too me. Their classiness enhanced by their Orangeyness.

Maybe the best ever

Yeah yeah, Tennessee lost to Georgia in basketball today but since when did SEC people start caring about basketball? The answer: only when their football teams started to suck. But I say that rather than become like UNC or Duke fans, who have no choice but to like hoops because their conferences inhale on the gridiron, let's rediscover other sports that, like football, are way realer. Like, for instance, baseball. College baseball rocks. Always has. And guess what, Vols fans: Tennessee opened its season with an awesome win.

Ok enough about that. How about this AWESOME OV?? This classic GMC SUV was spotted by my friend and fellow Tennessee grad Jeff Campbell somewheres in Texas.

And they say nothing good comes from Texas. Well, this here proves that wrong.

That very special first time

Weddings. The birth of a child. Promotions. Winning major awards. All are special moments in a person's life.

But there are a lucky few who know the most special feeling of all: Seeing your first picture posted on the BOVB.

No one knows that better right now than Lisa L., who spotted this awesome Orange vehicle in St. Augustine and had the presence of mind to snap a pic and forward it to the BOVB staff. Obviously, she is a person who shoots for the stars and this time she was right on target. Thanks, Lisa!

Orange Envy in Georgia?

Yes, more evidence that Georgians have some serious Orange envy. This here truck was spotted up in the Peach State by one of the BOVB's stalwart correspondents.

Hey, if my favorite team's uniforms looked like Georgia's do, I'd be subconsciously longing for glorious Volunteer Orange, too. Just sayin'.
