Gettin' real in the Cracker Barrel parking lot....
This Orange, um, thing, was spotted by faithful BOVB reader Trish in the Cracker Barrel parking in Fort Pierce a week or so before Christmas 2013. "Just when you're not thinking about it, BAM ... a BOV," she posted on Facebook. Thanks for the submission and happy holidays to Trish and the dozen or so readers of the blog!

Wow -- God IS good!
If ever there existed proof of Divine Intelligence, it is this magnificent and sacredly Orange Vehicle driven by Robert Morris of Jacksonville. And surely Morris, the pastor of an historic downtown church, must be thinking the same thing because he got this Beauty for Christmas!
The entire BOVB staff started salivating when Robert posted this pic on Facebook Dec. 26. So we asked him about the car.
"Jeff it's called hugger orange. I am still in shock, Not often a minister is without words."
Amen to that and congrats, pastor!

PS -- don't be shy about offering a ride.

Orange Navy
First Coast resident Tom S(Z), pictured here, submitted this pic round-bout last Spring or so. I have been remiss not to publish it until now. But there is one awesome thing about this photo: 1) it's originality, 2) it not being a car or truck, hence a nice change of pace, 3) it shows how dorky Tom can be, 4) that Tom and I have the same clothing tastes, i.e., I own those very same swim trunks, and 5) it reminds us all to proclaim "Go Vols!" (or "Go Browns," in Tom's case). Amen.

way Overdue!
Dang. Got busy and the Orange vehicle pix have piled up. Going to publish them in groups for a while just to catch up.
I snapped the top pic somewhere on I-95, headed north between JIA and the Georgia line. The second OV was spotted by the BOVB's intrepid Nassau County correspondent.
GoVols woohoo!

Orange alert!
The BOVB is breaking into your normal internet surfage to bring you an urgent report about a stolen OV.
A Facebook post this morning has alerted Florida and the nation that the semi pictured his was stolen this morning near Frost Proof, Fla. Here is the status update that accompanied the photo:
"This is really urgent - PLEASE everyone repost - this tractor and trailer was stolen Sunday morning while my brother was visiting our mother for her birthday. If anyone has seen this truck or knows anything please call the state police immediately. This is the family's only source of income and it has all been taken away. He has a wonderful family, 4 children, 4 grandchildren. It was last seen in Frost Proof, Florida 5 hours north of Miami and an 1-1/2 hours from Orlando and Tampa. Any leads will be greatly appreciated."
Please click on this link or contact the nearest authority if you have seen this truck and stuff.
You may now resume your normal internet surfing.

Ready, aim, fire!
I've never been one to promote the use of specialized canons designed to hurl large quantities of marijuana over the border from Mexico to the United States. That's just not my thing.
That said, I would encourage anyone who does dabble in such activities to use an Orange vehicle while doing so. That's why I was quite impressed with drug dealers who did just that. Please examine this this Associated Press article and photograph of an OV pickup mounted with a large-calibre canon used to fire bales of dubage between sovereign states.
A beauty, isn't she?
So much so that the BOVB staff ruled unanimously that this photo should make the BOVB, where our motto is "Ingenuity and Orange Vehicles Go Really Good Together."

Difference makers
Yeah OK so there are those people to strive to make a difference in the world. And the best in that group strives to make it onto the BOVB. Everyone please welcome the latest member of the elite of the elite, i.e., those who have submitted photos of Orange vehicles, Mr. John M. Wright. (Applause, cheering, hats flying in the air, etc).
He spotted this beauty at a Jacksonville-area fish camp on Feb. 9 and had the presence of mind and, dare I say, courage to snap a pic and send it in. Hats off to you, sir!

Going slow
Catching up on some way-overdue posts: A boat on the Mekong river, some cute Navy fork lift-looking vehicles and a sweet Porsche somewhere in Colorado. Thanks to Dawn Geer, the US Navy and Lauren Russ Smart, respectively, for the pix.
